Slater made arguably some of the most beautiful Infill planes ever in mass production & this shoulder plane is no exception. Unusually, this plane appears to have a retailers stamp on the wedge “Clarke Fore St Exeter”. Weight – 1.9kg. This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, some light pitting, the mouth is TIGHT & the edges are crisp on this shoulder plane, the wedge & blade & body Infill are matching factory dot stamped from fitting, a couple of previous owners marks, a lovely & scarce plane in as found condition.
