Rare Antique Fire Engine Toy. Presented for your consideration is this rare antique fire engine toy. The toy is made of cast iron and features a yellow painted wagon portion with red spoke wheels and a ornate designed hose reel at the back. Sitting at the front of the wagon is a driver wearing a fire helmet and holding his hands out for the reins of the horse. Pulling the wagon is a single black horse who is shown in a jumping position. The horse is attached to the wagon with two thick wires. Hose reel moves and has a cloth rope wrapped around it. The spoke wheels easily turn as well. Beautiful detailing and craftsmanship is displayed throughout the toy. Paint is original to the toy. Guaranteed to be old. This hard to find toy would make a great addition to any cast iron toy or fire memorabilia collection! There are 2 sets of wheels missing (one under the driver and one under the horse). Light to mild paint wear from age and play. No dents or dings. Looks to be free of any repairs. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
