1980s RALEIGH GRAND TETON MOUNTAIN TOUR OLD SCHOOL MOUNTAIN BIKE 22 VINTAGE BMX. Here is a cool OLD SCHOOL/vintage serial number is 61V8128? I BELIEVE was made in 1987 mens Raleigh Grand Teton “Mountain Tour” old school Mountain Bike with 26 wheels. It is in the original and very appealing BRIGHT YELLOW colored factory paint. This bike screams 1980s!!! If you like cool original mountain bikes, this may be a great bike for you. Mountain bikes are great as you can ride them on road, off the road, or on the trails. The bike features; v. Intage original paint and decals 4130 Cro-Moly frame and forks, color matching neck/stem, Sakae SR aluminum 3-piece cranks, Shimano derailleur, black seat/saddle, Quick release seat post, (NOT frozen in place) original handlebars, center pull brakes, water bottle cage, and more! As better quality, non “box store” bike of the time, I think if you take good care of this, it should only go up in value! Happened with the old stuff and this was one of the “good” ones of the time! Just a thought by me of course! The tires are 26×1.95. The tires do not appear to have many miles on them. The bike has lightweight aluminum rims with a QUICK RELEASE front hub. The bike is an original 18-SPEED with hand controlled brakes. (shifts and brakes but may need minor cable adjustment) The rear cable was replaced. The original is included. (see pics) DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 32 1/2. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 33. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 23. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22. The bike will accomadate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age! (see pics and be your own judge) The paint is original and has chips scratches etc. Decals are somewhat faded but are in place. I think it is a cool survivor type bike! (see pics and be your own judge) Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. Most every used bike out there seems to. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. A cool mountain bike at a great price. Why not ride a bike?
