The item is made of a thick wood made in joined sections with applied and carved elements to show a crown above the letters G & R in a wreath (see photos). The item was hanging on the wall in a nice estate (see photos). The item is marked or signed by the maker on the back looks to be the Hackney a borough in London, England (see photos of the mark and do your own research). I would guess the item may be from England and it may be English in origin (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The item has some wood losses, finish losses, obvious scuffs, some repainting and some obvious signs of wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
