This is a nice old Bronze or Brass Champleve enameled Japanese Asian urn vase (see photos). The urn has a pierced openwork lid and looks to have been used for incense. The vase includes a wooden base for display. The item is nicely decorated with Champleve enameled decoration (see photos). The vase is marked Made in Japan and it is Japanese in origin. The item in total measures about 10.5 inches high including the wooden stand (the vase with lid alone is about 9 inches high without the stand) and it is about 6.5 inches wide.
