VINTAGE INDONESIAN TRIBAL PENDANT. Size: 2″ H + 1 1/2″ W x 1/2 D. Antique silver and mixed metal details. It is aged and in original vintage condition. This was likely worn as part of a tribal costume and was used for ceremony. It’s very unique and the markings are a series of hand hammered dots. This piece can be cleaned up but I have left it with its original patina. It is also clearly hand made. It is vintage tribal jewelry and you could put a string around it and wear it as a pendant. This is a historical tribal design work of original art. It is rustic, solid and crafted by hand. The family who runs the gallery lives in West Timor so this was part of their collection. I lived in Indonesia for the past six years and worked with several artisans to produce both jewelry and textiles using the highest grade of materials and craftsmanship.
