Sinker Cypress Ancient Forest Wall Art. Old growth, reclaimed, ancient underwater recovered Sinker Pecky Cypress slab 1800 – 2000 years old. From a large log recovered by boat from South Louisiana swamp in mid-1980’s. The tight grain is a result of ancient, thick forestation. A beautiful hand carved Latin cross/crucifix adorns the center of the slab. The back side is unfinished. There is a slight bow in the slab as seen in the last two photos.
