This striking 4 piece Regal Old McDonald / Farm Canister set is seldom seen in. These are full sized 9 3/4 canisters. The canister bottoms a. Re trimmed in gold with gold lettering. Pieces with good gold are almost impossible to find. Without chips, cracks or repairs. The gold trim is intact on all the canisters with only a small bit missing on the back of the girls head. The lettering is great. The glazing is super nice. Check out the photos, they show you exactly what to expect. There are no hairlines or factory flaws on the canisters. All of the canisters with the exception of the coffee canister are nice and clean both inside and out. The coffee canister has stains near the top rim of the canister, which you can see in our photo. We have not tried to remove them. This is a fantastic set of Regal Old McDonald canisters. You will love adding this adorable set to your collection of Old McDonald’s Farm. Regal’s Old McDonald’s Farm (1950s) – Regal made a series in the 1950s based on Farmers and Farm animals. These colorful kitchen items were well made and were beautifully hand painted and fired. Pieces of Regal’s Farm include a Cow butter, Rooster creamer and Hen covered sugar, a Duck Teapot, Farm Barn cookie jar, Sheep salt and pepper shakers, Churn salt and pepper shakers, Farm Boy and Girl salt and pepper shakers, and a Pig grease jar. The 9 1/2 Canisters can be found with lids of all the figures mentioned above. Spice jars with the different heads were also made. A scarce 11 1/2 Tid Bit jar was also made.
