See pics and be your own judge BMX bikes are super cool! I look for bikes daily and I have not seen much for mid school or old school BMX in a while! When I was young, BMX racing was HOT! All the guys in the area traveled and raced locally. I got this one exactly like you see it. It has the original chrome finish OVERSIZE tubing frame and forks, Trek handlebars with black Trek hand grips, Redline neck, (Has some gauges) Schwinn sprocket, Trek seat/saddle, and more! It has a freewheel hub and a rear hand brake. This one has aluminum Femco rims/wheels front and rear. The tires hold air and still have the injection moulding nubs on them. Check out the rear “foot pegs” I believe this to be a “Sub dude” model. Would look nice with fresh decals! The MID SCHOOL BMX bikes are hot and I can pretty much guarantee will only go UP in value! They did not seem to make many of these and I did not see a lot of info out there about it. I believe this was made when Trek bikes were still made in Wisconsin USA? This is a super cool bike you can ride and have fun with. A cool item to display! BMX bikes are getting more popular! They make a good investment that will only go UP in value. Most were abused and throw away back in the day and are getting much harder to find now! You will LOVE this bike! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. Comes as you see it with parts shown. I dont know a lot about bikes of this era. I took many pics and have nothing to hide. The distance from the center of the head tube to the center of the seat post tube is approx 19. NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is quite respectable for its age! See pics and be your own judge. I took MANY and have nothing to hide! The chrome is shiny but is not perfect show quality. Most of these were heavily abused and thrown away years ago! Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them.
