Fenders and chainguard are not original, but are schwinn and from the same period. I suspect rims and handlebars may be original. Seat is not original. Has a 1998 Schwinn Reproduction Tank added. This is a 1952 Chicago Schwinn built frame & Forks. Frame is a Chicago built schwinn from 1952. It has original schwinn logo still in tact painted on on seat tube (see photos). This schwinn whizzer engine compatable frame has a Liberty Brand Badge on front. Notice the weld near the seat post/frame area where it appears an engine was installed…. The added Tank is a 1998 schwinn reproduction tank. The horn worked this spring and is not currently working. This bicycle is not all original, the fenders are a different shade of red/burgundy, but with new paint and added engine & accessories (not implied to be included in this sale), it appears to me that it could be a good candidate for someones 1950’s Whizzer restoration project/build. I think the rims are original to the frame and forks too, but I do not know for sure. The fenders are from the same period, but not the original fenders or chainguard. Also seat is not original.
