Yaka Stool, Old African Tribal Carving
This interesting carved wooden stool will make a wonderful addition to anyone’s collection of African, West African, or Ethnographic art. Even though it is labeled as coming from Burundi, we believe it comes from the Yaka people of the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is an older piece with a nice age patina, some sign past insect infestation, and shrinkage cracks consistent with its age. There is no indication of current insect infestation. It is about 9 1/4 high. All item descriptions are based upon visual inspection only. All measurements are approximate and are used for general descriptive purposes only. Please don’t break this contract. Please closely examine this item’s photos to determine condition. We describe it to the best of our ability, but make no guarantee our standards will match your standards as to final condition. We value your honesty and hope you will show us the same respect. We honor the world we all share. Toward this end, almost all of our packaging materials have been repurposed. It may not be pretty, but works and maybe saves a tree or two. PLEASE, if the packaging appears damaged, take photos as you open it. Thank you for checking out our listing. We always leave feedback and hope you will show us the same courtesy.
